Welcome to AHAA!
Association for Healing Arts & Artisans

Serving Placer County, CA

My name is Deborah Nickel and AHAA is the manifestation of a calling that I’ve been working on answering for the past few years.
AHAA’s mission is two-fold:

  • To gather the wealth of local individuals who contribute to the healing of our world and form a supportive community of healers.
  • To give voice to this community through educating the public about holistic alternatives.

It is known that by gathering in community with a common intention, we have the power to create a healthy, peaceful, and joyful world for ourselves.  That sounds good to me - especially during this particular time in history when we are on the cusp of great change.  The evolving AHAA community is meant to support and contribute to a positive direction for this inevitable evolution.  This website is one way to help us reach that goal at the same time that we celebrate our wonderfully diverse holistic community.  “Act locally, evolve globally” ~ Bruce Lipton, Ph.D.

Included in this website:

  • Directory of Placer County Holistic Providers – This is an important feature of this website.  The directory will allow us get to know the members of this community, what they do and how that can be helpful in our lives.  You will find great introductory and contact information regarding practitioner services and products that can aid us in our personal growth, wellness, and healing process.
  • Community Calendar of Classes & Events – There are many offerings in our local area to help us learn more about the mind/body/spirit connection, nutrition, wellness, metaphysics, green living, conscious music and many other important and fascinating subjects. Now there will be a place where all of our local teachers of these subjects can be found in one place. All member/practitioners will have access to this calendar to post their classes, events and gatherings.  (Of course any AHAA sponsored events will also be found on this community calendar.)
  • AHAA Community Membership – This page tells you about what makes AHAA tick: What was the initial impetus and how AHAA has evolved; AHAA’s mission; what we are doing and some plans for future growth.  You will find a list of the benefits of becoming a member.  You can conveniently sign up for your membership and make your very affordable annual payment right here.  You can also find out about other services that membership entitles you to.
  • The Library – The Library will contain articles, audio and video content in a wide variety of categories consistent with our practitioner category list. Practitioners are encouraged to submit material to be added to The Library. (All submissions are subject to approval. Contact us for further info.)
  • Community Sharing ~ Facebook Page – This is a forum that allows our community, general public and member/practitioners, to talk about, ask questions and share experiences about the mind /body/spirit connection, holistic healthcare, green living and other relative topics.

If you would like to become an AHAA member, please click here for more information, or here to contact us.

AHAA Newsletter – A once monthly newsletter to help keep us informed and connected. All member/practitioners are invited to send in articles for submission. You can sign up for our newsletter below.  Please take the time to sign up for our free newsletter and be the first to know about new members, articles and events.  (To have your low cost, $25, practitioner ad, or coupon included in AHAA’s newsletter, contact us by clicking here.)

AHAA sincerely looks forward to serving Placer County’s holistic community in a way that we hope will be fun, meaningful and enlightening to all!

Yours in Community,
